Rain stops play at Tauntonpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time
14:24 BST
Somerset v Durham 124-7 (target 420)
Here we go again...
It's light rain rather than heavy showers - but nevertheless the ground staff are pulling the covers into place and the players are trudging off.
Somerset will be praying it doesn't develop into anything more.

Essex 108-6 v Worcs - target 184
Big cut from Michael Pepper who gets a stroke of luck as a top edge flies a couple of feet out of the grasp of Rob Jones at slip.
It races away to the rope to bring the target four runs closer.
Amar Virdi continues his vigil at one end. 17 straight overs for the spinner.

Somerset v Durham 120-7 (target 420)
Brydon Carse led Durham's counter-attack in the first innings with a brilliant unbeaten hundred and he's on the charge again this time.
Carse sweeps Jack Leach for six and no sooner has Tom Abell has jogged into the empty stand to retrieve the ball than it's been dispatched to the boundary again, this time for four.
Durham need another 300 to win - but that looks like a technicality and has done ever since that dramatic mini-session last night.

Essex 103-6 v Worcs - target 184
Tom Taylor replaces Logan van Beek, Brett D'Oliveira shuffling his pack to try and fashion another breakthrough. This Essex pair are more than capable of rattling off 81 runs in 50+ overs on their own.
Amar Virdi has bowled 16 overs unchanged at the other end. Will he be given a breather?

Notts 405 v Surrey 525 & 151-7
As Clive Tyldesley famously said when a 16-year-old kid called Wayne Rooney scored his first Premier League goal, 'Remember the name'.
It feels very much the same with Farhan Ahmed. He looks like a spin bowler far beyond his teenage years.
Skill, guile, determination.
Remember the name!

Notts 405 v Surrey 525 & 148-7
Another Surrey wicket goes down.
Sai Sudharsan tries to hit Liam Patterson-White over cow corner and fails. The ball is straight into Rob Lord's break basket.
The Division One leaders are 268 runs ahead - are we close to a declaration?
100 up for Essexpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time

Essex 100-6 v Worcs - target 184
This is box office stuff.
Simon Harmer working his fellow off-spinner Amar Virdi around to tick off the runs, little by little.

Glamorgan 550-9 dec v Leicestershire 251 & 291-5
In his final appearance for Leicestershire this summer.
Only time will tell how valuable this knock from the veteran Australian gloveman will be.
173 balls with 14 fours, bringing the milestone up with a scampered single of Frazer Sheat.

Glamorgan 550-9 dec v Leicestershire 251 & 290-5
Louis Kimber gets an edge to Timm van der Gugten and it flies through to the keeper who takes the catch down by his laces.
Kimber stands his ground. He doesn't think this carried. Chris Cooke doesn't know. The slips cordon celebrate like it did. The umpires have a chat.
Kimber survives.
Benefit of the doubt, in a high stakes moment.
Ten-wicket haul for Farhan Ahmedpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time
14:08 BST
Notts 405 v Surrey 525 & 144-6
Incredible stuff from 16-YEAR-OLD Farhan Ahmed!!
Jordan Clark tries to paddle one down legside and it's sharply taken by South Africa wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne as the all-rounder goes for six.
This kid looks something very, very special.
He has 3-62 here to go with 7-140 in the first innings and he has bowled an incredible 72 overs in this match.

Gorgeous square drive from Simon Harmer to the first bit of width offered by Logan van Beek of late.
So long as the South African is there, Essex are alive in this. Michael Pepper made a century in the first innings too, don't forget.
WICKET: Turner c Overton b Leach 18published at 14:04 British Summer Time
14:04 BST
Somerset v Durham 108-7 (target 420)
This is why Somerset kept Jack Leach on after lunch!
The left-armer breaks what had begun to develop into a stubborn partnership - and the method has been very familiar throughout this game.
That's pitch, turn, bounce and take the edge - and Craig Overton snaps it up in the slips to send Ashton Turner on his way.
Three more wickets needed for Somerset.

Glamorgan 550-9 dec v Leicestershire 251 & 290-5
There are two types of leave, as they say. This was a good one.
Timm van der Gugten has a fresh cherry in his hand and gets one to jag back at Louis Kimber by a mile from outside off.
He shoulders arms and looks a very relieved man after the ball flies over the top of middle stump.
A boundary off the next ball takes the deficit down to nine.
WICKET Burns b Ahmed 71published at 14:03 British Summer Time

Notts 405 v Surrey 525 & 136-5
Bowled him!!
Rory Burns backs away to try to pull Farhan Ahmed, but it keeps a bit low and with a touch of bat, the leg-stump lies on the floor.
A fine match for Burns ends with 232 runs after 161 in the first innings.
The astonishing debut for 16-ear-old Ahmed continues. It's now nine wickets for the young off-spinner.
Battle for survivalpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time

Somerset v Durham 108-6 (target 420)
Martin Emmerson
BBC Radio NewcastleThis game was over, in terms of a Durham win, after the first 10 overs of their second innings last night.
They lost three wickets during that period of gloomy cricket, one when most people in the ground would not have expected to see any play.
Even though the lights were on it was dark. The sky leaden in colour and it felt like the end of October, not August.
Durham resumed this morning on 15-3, needing another 405 to beat Somerset. But the reality was they needed to bat out the day for a draw.
Archie Vaughan got the first wicket of the day, as nightwatchman Callum Parkinson was out for 18, while Jack Leach took the other two wickets to fall before lunch, including that of the other night watchman, George Drissell, for a career-best 33.
Ollie Robinson also fell for four. So at six down this is very much a battle for survival on another gloomy, but humid afternoon, in Taunton.

Yorks 601-6 dec & 30-0 v Middx 522
Four overs into the afternoon session at Headingley... anything doing?
Well, Yorkshire have added another 16 runs, with Finlay Bean crashing a couple of back-foot boundaries off Tom Helm and he has 13, with Adam Lyth registering the other 17 so far.
But there doesn't appear to be a great deal of urgency - and that's no massive surprise given where both teams are in the table.
If this does end in a draw, they'll stay third and second respectively, with Middlesex just one point ahead of their opponents.
