Deadline for the submission of course adjustments into the system including Double Major and Minor programs. Submissions are going to be handled by the departments by 15:00 the latest.
Elective courses with insufficient enrollment after ADD-DROP week will be closed on Wednesday, 11 October, 2023 (16:00), and associate and bachelor's degree students enrolled in these courses will have to choose other courses from the student registration system by Friday, October 13, 2023 at 16:00. Elective course selection and registration will not take place after this date; the system will be closed. Students whose courses were dropped due to closure will be informed via SMS, but it is the student's responsibility to keep informed about the dropped courses by checking the system on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Deadline for students to pay their tuition (and other relevant fees.) Course registrations of students who fail to fulfil their financial obligations will be cancelled and these students will be regarded as “not having registered for a course” in that semester. Students themselves are liable for any courses that are not dropped from their schedule by this date, whether the system has assigned the course or the students themselves have registered for that course. Scholarship students are strongly advised to pay due attention to their course registrations.
APD is notified of requests regarding the planning of fall semester midterm exams, which are entered into the UMIS record keeping system, and then announced. Courses must have at least one midterm exam according to regulations. The Academic Planning Directorate is notified by the Faculty/School board about how midterm exams are to be administered, whether they are writen, take-home, etc. When an objection is made about these exams, there must be a record of it, such as jury report or camera recording. Please refer to the Examination Guidelines.

Early Final exams for Associate and Undergraduate degree students who are studying at our University within the scope of Erasmus, World exchange or by some other means and for students who will be going abroad within the scope of similar programs. The departure dates of the students who are eligible for these exams must have been finalised and need to be verified by a document from their respective Schools or Faculties. Not all students going abroad are eligible for these exams. Students can take these exams only if there is an overlapping in their academic schedules. The BAU Global Academic Affairs and International Programs Office is required to submit the list of eligible students to the Office of the President by Friday, 22 December, 2023, to be forwarded to the respective Units.The students on these lists are notified of the exam dates scheduled by their respective departments. Students who are entitled to take early final exams are required to take all their final exams during the early final exam period. These students cannot take their final exams during the regular final exam period.

SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer school course registrations. There is no ADD-DROP period and no withdrawals from courses in summer school. (Students who request additional exams must also enroll in summer school courses; if they graduate after taking the make up exam, they must cancel their summer school courses from the Student Affairs Office.
Summer school courses that do not meet the minimum criteria to stay open will be cancelled by the Academic Planning Directorate around 11:00 am, and the affected students will be notified via SMS. It is the students' responsibility to enter the system one last time, on Thursday, 11 June, 2024 to check the courses in their programs. Those whose courses have been dropped due to course cancellation can register online for other courses on 11 June, 2024.
Deadline for students who have registered for summer school during the 2023-2024 academic year to pay any outstanding fees. Course registrations of students who have failed to make the required payments will be canceled and these students will be regarded as not having registered for classes. Students whose courses have thus been dropped will not be able to re-register for these courses after Friday, 12 July 2024 whether or not they have settled their outstanding debts. Summer School courses for which there has not been sufficient student registration will be closed.
