Dragon Ball characters’ official heights and weights | Esports Tales (1)

A list of the official heights and weights of all Dragon Ball characters. Data from books, guides, manga, anime, magazines, and special episodes.

Data sources

  • Daizenshuu 7: Dragon Ball Encyclopedia. This book released in 1996 contains any kind of info on the characters, including power level, attack list, item list, locations, timeline, and more.

  • Dragon Ball: Super Exciting Guide. A series composed of two databooks published in 2019. It incorporates most of the information provided by Daizenshuu 7 and by the two Dragon Ball Kanzenban Official Guides: Dragon Ball Landmark and Dragon Ball Forever.

  • Manga, anime, special episodes and magazines.

The lists below only include about 50 characters because manga/anime/game publishers and developers never released more official material on the topic.

Of course, the fans of the series guessed the approximate heights of more characters, however, I have not included them because they are not canon.

If you notice that I am missing height/weight on a Dragon Ball character on which we have official info, please contact me and provide the source. I will add them to the list as soon as possible.

DBZ and DBS Broly

DBZ Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan that exists within an alternate dimension (according to Akira Toriyama) and he’s the most powerful movie villain (according to Takao Koyama).

DBS Broly is Toriyama’s version of Takao Koyama’s Broly, which is different in power and character. The new Broly is never called or referred to as “Legendary Super Saiyan” because he’s not one in the main continuity.

Only in the Takao Koyama’s Dragon Ball universe Broly is a real Legendary Super Saiyan, which is more than just a title as it is recognized as a real form. DBS Broly is simply Broly as a Super Saiyan using his full power.
